It was balmy hot yesterday; temperature was above 35C. We were in Stanley for a late lunch with Gandma, Auntie Molly & Auntie Flo.
The afternoon sun was deadly, I almost fainted in the HEAT…..wish I could jump into the water and have a splash!

Grandma is finally home after a month in London & Austria. Hurray!
Just when is she going to take me out for a walk?
Auntie Mei brought me to a Birthday party over the weekend. Actually it was a party for 5 babies; a bunch of her colleagues have babies & their birthdays all fall on this month.
It’s obvious that Auntie Mei knew I was at the end of my rope & had gotten so depressed since Grandma left for London; she tried to cheer me up and at the same time, showed me off to her staff.
They patted, squeezed & tickled me as if I were a toy. Well, I really didn’t mind, as long as I was out and about.
This poor baby girl wasn’t too friendly though, she stared at me for a long while as this fur ball was in the way, blocking her view.
Grandma left for London and won’t be back for a month. Auntie Mei is on a week long business trip in Shanghai and Mom is at work all day. Although Susan, our maid, doesn’t like furry four-legged creatures, she does feed me well.
I’ve been lazing around for days and have NO appetite what so ever, I’ve never been like this before. I miss my Grandma….and I’m awfully DEPRESSED!!
Where on earth is Auntie Mei taking me? Hope it’s some place fun! Hey, can you see me?
Over here…..look closer!
The elevator just passed 40th floor, not to the VET….please.
WOW, what a nice office….Auntie Mei brought me to her work place.
I am having a dreadful attack of vertigo?
The whole room is spinning around me, I’m really sick.
The threesome (Mom, Grandma & Auntie Mavis) took me to Stanley Market over Easter. Mom drove all the way from Pokfulam but she kept me in the back seat, what a bummer!
You think she would let me run around? Obviously NOT !!
At long last, I’m out and about, hurray! As you can see, I’ve been shaved Big Time….Mom is getting me ready for spring.
Glad I’m not bundled up like these poor doggies; I might look a little strange with not much fur left but it’s breezy and real cool.
Nine days have passed, I’m still on those awful antibiotics. My appetite is gone as human food is NOT allowed. Thank goodness though; I don’t have to return to the Vet for more torture (shots).
Auntie Mavis visited over the weekend; she got a kick out of the little plastic prescription bag – Patient: HOLLY. What’s so funny ??
Grandma has been babysitting me all week; doesn’t she know that I want to go out? Let’s go for a ride…a walk, even down the street before Mom comes home, p-l-e-a-s-e!!
I can’t stay in anymore…
A week ago, Grandma took me for a Joy Ride. It was a glorious spring day with a light breeze. Within minutes, we were waved down and pulled over by a Policeman.
Boy, he had such a stern face, this could be serious. Was he about to give us a ticket?? I wondered. Turned out there is a city bi-law ~ Doggies ARE NOT allowed in the front seat with a lone driver. We were caught in the act….gosh, I was having so much fun before we were stopped.
Thank God the policeman only gave Grandma a lecture & let us off the hook. Guess I‘ll have to be a back-seat doggie from now on….what a bummer!!! WHY ME???
